Who we are
We are IDVerse. We are trusted by leading banks, governments, telcos and many other companies to verify your identity.
We started life in Sydney, Australia but have grown into a global leading identity provider with a large presence in the US, the UK and Australia in particular.
Our aims
Our stated aim is to be able to verify anyone, at any time and anywhere.
To do this we are constantly striving to reduce any bias in our systems and to allow anyone with a mobile to use our technology.
What to expect when using our technology
We need to prove two things:
- You are a real person; and
- You are who you claim to be.
So we will ask you to complete a very short and easy selfie. Our AI powered technology will check that you are a real person and that we are seeing a real face – no masks or deepfakes allowed!
Then we will ask you to take a photo of your identity document. We can check if it has been tampered with in anyway and if you are the person in the photo.
Avoidance of fraud tips
We all need to work together to prevent fraud.
There are some easy things you can do to help prevent fraud.
- Report lost or stolen documents to the appropriate body: CIFAS in the UK or the document issuing authority in Australia or the USA
- Do not lend your identity document to anyone else
- Complete the identity verification flow in one session to reduce the chance that someone can impersonate you
- Ensure you are in a well lit area to assist with the identity verification flow
